TREKKING AND PARAGLIDING

Paragliding is special recreational adventure activity of flying Paraglider in air. Paragliding is very adventurous activity which require special skill to experience safe. Paragliding can be done solo and Tandem. Bir Billing is best spot for paragliding – aero-sport in India and 2nd best place for paragliding in world. TREKKING AND PARAGLIDING

Day 1: Arrive Bir Camp site Dinner and Overnight in Fixed tents

Day 2:- Paragliding, Monastery and Bir visit Morning post breakfast drive for 18 kms for take-off point to Billing for paragliding flight of 20-30 mins. Landing at Bir and visit Palpung Sherbling monastery, Bhattu. Overnight stay in Camp Oak View, Bir

Day 3: Bir to Bara gran village Morning after breakfast drive to Bara gran village. Bara gran is last road head of the valley. This is the starting point of the trekking

Badagran to Raj Gundha Start trekking from Badagran village, trek passing through vegetable and pulses fields till the Uhl river bridge. After passing the bridge, we hike upward to Kukkar gundha village. Village is home of farmers and shepherds. Later after 1 km we reach Raj Gundha village, where we pitch our dome tents for stay. Valley is surrounded by dense forest from one side and mountains on the other side. Dinner and Overnight stay at Raj Gundha Village in Dome tents

Day 4:- Raj Gundha to Billing StartPost breakfast, we start our trek from Raj Gundha village. After Raj gundha village trek enter to Deodara and Oak forest. Trail start gaining altitude till Channa ghat, which is highest point of trek at 2700 mts from sea level. From Channa ghat, we have the view of Thamsar peak and Billing on the other side. Trekking for more 2 -3 hrs you will reach at Billing, which is take off point of Paragliding.

Day 5:- Departure After Breakfast back to your destination

Rajgundha and Kukkar gundha villages are twin villages and at the distance of 1 km. Villages have almost same heritage and culture. People here known as Bhangaliya, as they belong to Bhangal valley. Theses villages in not only known for culture but its scenic beauty which make its different from other. Villages surrounded by very dense Deodara, Oak forest, on the one side and by open valley on the other with mountain view. Forest hiding many endangered birds species and wild life. Trek to billing is well defined road which was destroyed due to landslide and trees. Trekking is very easy and considered as family hiking route.
